Who this policy is for
This Privacy Policy applies to GOJO's mobile apps, websites, and related services (the “Service”). The Service is for people age 13 and older. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we will take steps to close it and delete associated personal information as required by law.

Information we collect
- Account information, such as your email address or phone number, username, display name, password credential handled by our authentication provider, and date of birth.
- Profile and content information, such as your bio, profile photo, Highlights, comments, messages, GOJO activity, reports, appeals, and other content you choose to create.
- Activity and transaction information, including follows, blocks, participation in GOJOs, GO balance and ledger activity, GoShop redemptions, and account settings.
- Device, network, and diagnostic information, such as device and app version, IP address, timestamps, crash data, security signals, notification token, and performance data.
- Information you provide when you contact support, submit a report, request data access or deletion, or participate in an investigation.
How we use information
- Provide, personalize, secure, and improve the Service.
- Create and protect accounts, enforce age rules, and prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Operate feeds, messaging, GOJOs, GO balances, rewards, GoShop, safety tools, support, and notifications.
- Moderate content, investigate reports and appeals, enforce our rules, and comply with lawful requests.
- Measure reliability and understand how features work. We do not sell personal information.
AI and automated systems
GOJO uses automated systems to help rank content and power clearly identified AI features. GOJO Bird Help answers questions using approved GOJO support information. Creator AI can suggest ideas and propose structured changes that you review before creating a GOJO. AI may also help summarize chats and transcribe voice notes.
AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. It does not establish identity, permissions, account status, GO balances, or published content, and it should not be treated as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
We test AI features with ordinary, edge-case, adversarial, and prompt-injection scenarios and use bounded inputs, output validation, and deterministic product rules to reduce harmful or unauthorized behavior. Testing reduces risk but cannot guarantee that every output will be correct or safe.
Depending on the feature, the information you submit and the limited context needed to answer may be processed by third-party AI service providers. GOJO currently uses Mistral for Help, Creator Ideas, chat recaps, and transcription, and Cerebras for structured Creator assistance. We require service providers to process information only to provide and protect the Service, subject to their applicable terms and our agreements with them.
When we share information
We share information only as needed to operate the Service, follow your choices, protect people and GOJO, or comply with law.
- With other users when you post publicly, join shared spaces, message them, or otherwise direct us to share.
- With service providers that host data, deliver messages, process support requests, provide security or analytics, or perform other work for us under contractual restrictions.
- With authorities or other parties when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Service.
- As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice where required.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, protect users, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, maintain transaction integrity, and meet legal obligations. Different categories may be kept for different periods. For example, ordinary account content can usually be deleted sooner than fraud evidence, safety reports, or financial ledger records. Backups may retain deleted information for a limited period before being overwritten.
When you delete your account, access is disabled immediately and deletion or anonymization proceeds asynchronously. Some information may remain for a limited time in backups or be retained where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, transaction integrity, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. GOJO uses technical and organizational safeguards, but no service can guarantee perfect security.
Your choices and rights
- Update profile and account settings in the app.
- Control notifications through the app and your device settings.
- Block users and report content or conduct.
- Request an export of your account data through Settings when available.
- Delete your account in Settings. Deletion is permanent after confirmation. Some limited records may be retained when required for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving transactions.
- Exercise privacy rights available where you live, such as access, correction, deletion, or appeal, by contacting josh@gojonetwork.com. We may need to verify your identity.
Changes
We will post the current version and effective date in the Service. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice and request renewed agreement where required.
